Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supports CVS Health Retail pharmacy teams to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient experiences. Responsibilities include following SOPs across pharmacy workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), assisting with immunizations and other services where allowed, conducting inventory activities (including cycle counts and returns-to-stocks), ensuring patient safety and privacy, and delivering compassionate customer service. The role may involve traveling to stores within the market as needed. Requires completion of required training and satisfying registration, licensing, and certification requirements per state guidelines; high school diploma or equivalent (or active enrollment) is required. Strong attention to detail, math skills, communication, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including but not limited to age, education, and licensure/certification.
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
