Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized care at the register and over the phone, offering immunizations and other services while solving or escalating patient problems. Complete basic inventory activities like putting away deliveries and performing cycle counts, and deliver additional health services such as point-of-care testing where permitted. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances, recordkeeping, and patient privacy. Work 40 hours weekly as a full-time role with a base pay of $16.50 to $25.00, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
