Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health retail locations supports the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient experiences. Responsibilities include following SOPs across pharmacy workflow (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), assisting in immunizations and related services where allowed, managing basic inventory and cycle counts, and ensuring patient privacy and safety. The role requires completing the company training program and meeting registration, licensing, and certification requirements per the applicable State Board of Pharmacy, with travel to stores in the market as needed. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician and ability to work across the market to support business needs. The position may be part-time with a schedule that includes nights and weekends and offers benefits where eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
