Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service, offer immunizations and other register services, and escalate problems as needed. Complete inventory tasks like putting away deliveries and cycle counts, and deliver additional health services such as point-of-care testing where permitted. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances, recordkeeping, and patient privacy. Work flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and travel to other stores in the market as required. Complete rigorous company training and satisfy all state Board of Pharmacy registration and certification requirements before full duties begin.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
