Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in a retail setting with responsibilities across prescription fulfillment, SOP adherence, patient interactions, and occasional immunization support where permitted. Duties include assisting with pharmacy workflow, inventory tasks, cycle counts, labeling accuracy, and ensuring safe, compassionate patient service while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and the State Board of Pharmacy guidelines. The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability to scheduling needs (nights/weekends), and ongoing development of clinical and technical knowledge. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) based in Lafayette, IN, with potential to travel within the market as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
