Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role supporting CVS Health pharmacy teams in retail locations. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with prescription fulfillment across workflow stations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off), delivering compassionate customer service, immunizations and other services where allowed, maintaining inventory (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories), and ensuring patient safety and privacy. The technician may travel to stores across the market as needed. Requires completion of company training and satisfaction of state registration/licensing/certification requirements; eligibility to obtain Technician Immunizer status where permissible; strong math, communication, and multitasking abilities; and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience and ability to work across multiple stores to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
- If state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
- If state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program
