Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health in Concord, NC (part-time). The technician supports the pharmacy team by assisting with prescription fulfillment, inventory tasks, and customer interactions across store operations. Responsibilities include following SOPs for safe, accurate dispensing; assisting with immunizations and other services where allowed; engaging with patients to deliver a caring, empathetic experience; maintaining accurate labeling and patient information; supporting inventory, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks; complying with federal, state, and local regulations and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy. Requires meeting state licensure/certification requirements, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and regular attendance; position may require flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends, and potential travel to other stores to meet business needs. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience and ability to work across markets; anticipated weekly hours: 15. The pay range is $16.50-$25.00 hourly, with benefits eligibility for part-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements (age, education, licensure/certification)
- If state board has no minimum age, applicant must be at least 16 years old
- If state board has no minimum education, applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state, and must obtain necessary licensure/certification
- Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
- Strong customer service and teamwork orientation
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to dispensing (days supply, quantities)
- Ability to lift/move items up to 20 lbs as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Willingness to travel to stores in the market if required by business needs
- Ability to comply with policies/procedures and protect patient privacy
