Job Summary
Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational excellence and service within the store by following SOPs at every workstation to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately. Assist patients and customers at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone with empathy, offering immunizations and other services while solving or escalating patient problems. Complete basic inventory activities such as putting away medication deliveries, performing cycle counts, and managing returns-to-stocks as directed by leadership. Contribute to a high-performing team by embracing a growth mindset and seeking opportunities to expand clinical knowledge. Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including voluntary travel to other stores in the market. Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances, recordkeeping, and patient privacy. Obtain required licensure and certification according to state Board of Pharmacy guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
