Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service, offer immunizations and other register services, and escalate complex issues while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Complete basic inventory activities, including medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks, as directed by leadership. This full-time role requires 40 weekly hours and includes nights and weekends. Candidates must meet state board of pharmacy requirements, including licensure or certification, and complete rigorous company training. Applicants with 1-3 years of pharmacy or customer service experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
