Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized care during interactions at the register, drive-thru, and over the phone, while offering immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other services where permitted. Complete basic inventory activities such as putting away deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks, and maintain accurate records for vaccine administration and adverse reaction reporting. Remain flexible for scheduling needs and travel to other stores in the market as directed. Complete required training and satisfy state licensure and certification requirements to operate independently.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
