Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, customer care, and immunization services. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with immunizations where permissible, managing inventory and cycle counts, aiding drive-thru and in-store services, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations, and contributing to a safe, inclusive patient experience. Requires completion of a rigorous training program and state Board of Pharmacy licensure/certification; willingness to travel to stores within the market as needed; strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills; and ability to work flexible scheduling.”
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy; includes age, education, licensure/certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (or actively enrolled in high school/high school equivalency) as a minimum educational requirement per state board guidelines
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state; follow applicable requirements
- Willingness to complete required training and certification to obtain Technician Immunizer status where permissible
- Ability to perform duties including immunizations where legally allowed and trained
- Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
- Ability to accurately confirm prescription information, label accuracy, and maintain patient safety
