Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role in CVS Health retail stores supporting the pharmacy team with prescription fulfillment, customer service, immunizations where permitted, inventory management, and adherence to SOPs. Responsibilities include assisting with safe and accurate prescription processing, immunizations (where allowed by state regulations), patient interactions at pick-up/drive-thru/phone, and contributing to a high-performing team. Requires meeting state Board of Pharmacy requirements, including licensure/certification and high school diploma or equivalent; opportunities to obtain Technician Immunizer status where permissible. Flexible part-time schedule (Anticipated 20 hours per week) with travel to stores in the market as needed by business needs. Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
