Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service, immunizations, and point-of-care testing while maintaining strict compliance with controlled substance laws and privacy standards. Manage vaccine supplies, monitor adverse reactions, and complete inventory tasks like cycle counts and returns-to-stocks as directed by leadership. Maintain flexibility for scheduling, including nights and weekends, and volunteer for offsite clinic staffing where permitted. Complete rigorous company training and satisfy all state Board of Pharmacy licensure requirements prior to full duty.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
