Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs and workflow procedures to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off channels. Assist patients with personalized service at the register, drive-thru, and over the phone, while offering immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other health services where permitted by law. Manage inventory activities such as putting away deliveries, completing cycle counts, and tracking vaccine supplies, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. Complete required training and licensure per state Board of Pharmacy guidelines, and remain flexible for scheduling needs, including nights, weekends, and voluntary travel to other stores.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
