Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health in a retail store setting. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, following SOPs to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, handling immunizations and vaccines where permitted, performing workflow tasks (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), conducting basic inventory activities, and delivering compassionate patient service across in-store and market locations. The role emphasizes customer service, empathy, and teamwork, with duties aligned to regulatory standards and privacy requirements. Required qualifications include state-board licensure/certification, a high school diploma or equivalent (or active enrollment), and the ability to travel or work across multiple stores as needed. Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
- 1-3 years experience preferred (Preferred Qualifications) in pharmacy/retail/medical/customer service settings
- Ability to work across the home store and market locations to meet business needs
- Anticipated weekly hours: 28
