Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role supporting CVS Health pharmacy teams to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across pharmacy workflows (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off). Responsibilities include following SOPs, handling immunizations and vaccine-related duties where allowed, inventory activities, assisting patients with empathetic service, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requires completing a rigorous training program and meeting all registration, licensing, and certification requirements per State Board of Pharmacy guidelines; position may involve traveling to stores within the market to support shifts. Eligible candidates are expected to be mobile, accurate in labeling, proficient in math for dispensing calculations, and able to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient privacy and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, licensure/certification; high school diploma or equivalent (or actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program); state-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
