Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized care at the register and over the phone, including offering immunizations and other services. Complete basic inventory activities such as putting away deliveries, cycle counts, and waiting bin inventories. Deliver additional patient health care services like immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted by law and supported by required training. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances, recordkeeping, and patient privacy. Work flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and volunteer to travel to other stores in the market as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
