Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs at workstations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off channels. Assist patients with personalized service, offer immunizations and other register services, and escalate complex issues to pharmacists. Manage inventory by putting away deliveries, conducting cycle counts, and handling returns. Complete required training and state licensing, then administer vaccines, monitor adverse reactions, and track patient information. Remain flexible for scheduling, travel to other market locations as needed, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and privacy.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
