Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health in-store teams to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate prescription fulfillment and patient care. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with production, pickup, drive-thru, and drop-off workflow; administering vaccines where permitted; participating in inventory and cycle counts; providing empathetic customer service at the register and over the phone; educating patients about vaccines and other services; maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; and pursuing required licensure/certification per State Board requirements. The role emphasizes safe and efficient operations, teamwork, continuous learning, and contributing to a high-performing, inclusive store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including but not limited to age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
