Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health in Retail locations. Responsible for assisting the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, providing empathetic customer service, handling immunizations and vaccines where allowable, performing inventory and cycle counts, maintaining compliance with SOPs, and contributing to a high-performing team. Requires adherence to state Board of Pharmacy licensing/certification requirements and completing necessary licensure steps; flexible to scheduling including nights and weekends; travel within market stores as needed; training and development to expand clinical and technical knowledge; immunization support where licensed.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including minimum age and licensure/certification as applicable by state
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
