Job Summary
Support pharmacy team in prescription fulfillment and patient care within CVS Health stores, following SOPs, assisting with immunizations where permissible, and contributing to inventory management, cycle counts, and customer service. Responsibilities include accurate labeling and dispensing, protecting patient privacy, administering vaccine-related duties where licensed, assisting pharmacists, and providing compassionate, attentive service while collaborating with store teams. Requires adherence to regulatory requirements, ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends, and ongoing learning to expand clinical and technical knowledge. Timely travel to stores across the market may be needed to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
