Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health responsible for supporting pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service. Responsibilities include following pharmacy SOPs across workflow stations (production, pickup, drive-thru, drop-off), assisting with immunizations and vaccine-related services where allowed, handling inventory and returns-to-stocks, and contributing to a high-performing, compliant, and caring pharmacy environment. Requires completion of required state licensure/certification per guidelines, high school diploma or equivalent, and readiness to pursue additional licensure (e.g., Technician Immunizer) as permitted. Strong customer service, attention to detail, mathematical ability, and effective communication are essential; ability to travel within the market to cover stores as needed is expected. This is a part-time role with hours potentially including nights and weekends, and includes a pay range of $16.50-$25.00 per hour, plus benefits where eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
- If state board does not address minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
- If state board does not address minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school/high school equivalency
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
- Willingness and ability to complete required training and certification to obtain Technician Immunizer status where permissible by law
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety
- Ability to perform basic inventory activities and adhere to regulatory requirements
- Strong customer service and team orientation
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required
- Ability to travel to different stores in the market for coverage as needed
- Compliance with CVS policies and procedures to protect patient privacy and security
- Attention to detail, good mathematical reasoning, and effective communication skills
