Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health’s pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off; contribute to immunization services where permitted; maintain inventory and comply with SOPs; provide compassionate patient care and effective communication; undergo required state-licensure and certification processes as per Board guidelines; flexible to travel among stores in the market as needed; strong math, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (or actively enrolled in high school or equivalent)
- State board of pharmacy licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
- Completion of required training program and satisfaction of registration/certification requirements per State Board of Pharmacy guidelines
- Ability to meet health and safety standards and perform duties in a retail pharmacy setting
- Ability to perform essential duties including immunizations where permissible with proper licensure/certification
- Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage inventory, labeling, and prescription processing
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed by the business
