Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health retail pharmacies with responsibilities across pharmacy workflow: assisting pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment; handling production, drive-thru, pick-up and drop-off processes; performing cycle counts, returns-to-stocks and inventory tasks; delivering empathetic patient service at pickup, drive-thru, and phone; providing immunizations and other services where trained; maintaining compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, and contributing to a safe, inclusive team environment. Requires completing rigorous training and meeting state licensure/certification requirements; part-time schedule (approx. 20 hours/week) with flexibility for evenings/weekends; travel to stores in the market as needed; strong communication, mathematical, and problem-solving skills; ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and perform tasks in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, licensure/certification; minimum age 16 if not mandated by state board; must have high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program; state-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
