Job Summary

Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions while providing compassionate service that exceeds customer expectations. Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met by maintaining full adherence to Federal, State, and Local laws, including patient confidentiality. You will work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, actively listening to customers, using math to calculate day's supply, and resolving complex situations involving prescription errors or insurance issues. As a new hire, you must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements per your State's Board of Pharmacy guidelines before expanding duties.

  • Physical demands: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
  • Physical demands: Stooping to a considerable degree

  • Physical demands: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels
  • Physical demands: Visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs
  • Exerting up to 30 lbs of force occasionally
  • Exerting up to 10 lbs of force frequently
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law
  • Satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to your State's Board of Pharmacy guidelines

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • PTCB National Certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent
