Job Summary
CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for Retail locations. The role supports the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, operates within SOPs, delivers empathetic, patient-centered service at the register or drive-thru, and contributes to a safe, inclusive culture. Responsibilities include assisting with production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows, completing basic inventory activities, ensuring patient safety and privacy, complying with all applicable laws and regulations, and participating in training to meet licensing and certification requirements. The Technician may travel to stores across the market as needed to support business needs and may assist with immunizations and other services where permitted by law and certification. Essential skills include strong communication, documentation accuracy, math for dispensing quantities, problem resolution, multitasking, and teamwork, with a focus on delivering positive patient experiences and adhering to CVS policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
