Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health pharmacy teams in retail locations, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, SOP-compliant operations across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off, and delivering empathetic patient service. Responsibilities include assisting with immunizations where permitted, completing basic inventory tasks, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks and weight of stock, maintaining patient safety and privacy, labeling accuracy, and collaboration with Pharmacists to manage patient prescriptions and deliver a high-quality experience. Role requires adherence to state board/licensure/certification requirements, completion of required training, and willingness to travel to stores across the market as needed to meet business needs. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience and ability to work across the home store and market locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy (age, education, licensure/certification)
- If state board does not mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
- If state board does not mandate minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school/high school equivalency program
