Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role within CVS Health Retail locations supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows; enabling immunizations and other services where allowed; maintaining inventory and cycle counts; providing empathetic customer service; and complying with applicable laws and privacy standards. The role may involve traveling to stores across the market to support business needs. A rigorous training program and completion of required state licensing/certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, licensure/certification
- High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
- Anticipated Weekly Hours 35
