Job Summary
Support the pharmacy team by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service, immunizations, and point-of-care testing while maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. Complete basic inventory activities such as medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks as directed by leadership. This part-time role requires 20 weekly hours, with a schedule including evenings, weekends, and travel to other stores as needed. Applicants must meet state board of pharmacy requirements, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete rigorous company training within the designated timeframe.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
