Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service, offer immunizations and other register services, and escalate complex issues as needed. Manage basic inventory activities including medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks while maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. Complete required training and satisfy registration/licensing requirements per state Board of Pharmacy guidelines to expand clinical knowledge and support additional health services.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
