Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role in CVS Health Retail locations supporting the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, inventory management, immunization support, and patient service. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with drive-thru and in-store operations, contributing to a high-performing team, and complying with federal/state/local laws and CVS policies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (or active enrollment), and eligibility for state licensure/certification; anticipated 40 hours per week with potential travel to market stores as needed; includes training and opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
