Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role supporting CVS Health retail pharmacy teams; responsibilities include following SOPs to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment across production, drive-thru, drop-off, and pickup, assisting patients with empathetic service, administering immunizations where allowed, managing basic inventory and cycle counts, and providing support for immunization services and vaccine supplies. Requires completing necessary state licensure/certification and ongoing training, meeting age/education requirements, and collaborating with pharmacists to deliver safe patient care in a fast-paced retail environment. Must be flexible for scheduling, travel within the market as needed, and adhere to all regulatory and privacy guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- State board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification where applicable
- Minimum age requirement of 16 years if the state board does not address it
- High school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment in high school/high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
- Completion of required training and certifications to obtain Technician Immunizer status where applicable
- Compliance with all required training, certifications, and regulatory guidelines as directed by the State Board of Pharmacy
