Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role supporting CVS Health pharmacy teams in retail locations.Responsibilities include following SOPs to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across pharmacy workflow (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off); delivering empathetic patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; assisting with immunizations and related services where permitted; contributing to inventory management (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bins); staying compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies; and pursuing required licensure/certification to obtain Technician Immunizer status where allowed. The position emphasizes teamwork, ongoing learning, tolerance, and flexibility to meet scheduling needs, including weekend availability. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience and the ability to work across the market as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education, licensure/certification where applicable
- If state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
- If state board has no minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school/high school equivalency program
