Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service, immunizations, and point-of-care testing while maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and privacy. Perform inventory tasks including putting away deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks as directed by leadership. Maintain flexibility for scheduling needs and voluntarily travel to other stores in the market to support business requirements. Complete rigorous company training and satisfy state Board of Pharmacy registration and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
