Job Summary

Support pharmacy teams by following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized care during interactions at the register, drive-thru, and over the phone, while offering immunizations and other services where permitted by law and training. Manage basic inventory activities including medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. Complete required training and licensing per state Board of Pharmacy guidelines, with duties restricted until certification is achieved. This part-time role requires flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, with an anticipated weekly commitment of 20 hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
  • If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
  • If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Desired Qualifications

  • 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
