Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health's retail pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient services. Responsibilities include following SOPs at each workstation, assisting with immunizations and vaccine services where allowable, performing basic inventory tasks, providing empathetic customer service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone, and staying compliant with licensing and certification requirements as dictated by state boards of pharmacy. The role may require traveling to stores in the market to support business needs; the candidate will work within a collaborative team focused on safe, compassionate patient care and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
