Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health supporting the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and customer service across store operations. Responsibilities include following SOPs at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), assisting with immunizations and other patient services where allowable by law, managing inventory and cycle counts, ensuring patient safety and privacy, providing empathetic care to patients, and supporting training and certification requirements as dictated by state guidelines. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering a positive patient experience while remaining flexible to scheduling needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
