Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role in CVS Health retail stores supporting the pharmacy team to deliver safe, efficient prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with inventory and cycle counts, complying with laws and patient privacy, and delivering compassionate customer service. The technician may support immunizations and vaccines where permitted, educate patients, and help manage vaccine supplies. The position requires flexible scheduling (nights and weekends), strong communication and math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel to stores in the market as needed. Training and licensure/certification requirements per state Board of Pharmacy are required, with duties potentially restricted until those requirements are satisfied. This is a part-time role with a pay range of $16.50-$25.00 per hour and eligible benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
