Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health in Grovetown, GA. Supports pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and customer service across store operations (production, pickup, drive-thru, and drop-off). Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with immunizations and other services as permissible, inventory activities, cycle counts, waiting bin inventories, and ensuring patient safety and privacy. Requires completion of company training and fulfillment of state licensing/certification requirements; high school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment preferred. Ability to travel to stores in the market as needed; demonstrates care, empathy, and a collaborative, compliant approach to pharmacy operations. Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including but not limited to age, education, and licensure/certification
- If state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
- If state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school/high school equivalency
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
- Essential Functions require regular attendance, ability to work nights and weekends, attention and focus, communication skills, mathematical reasoning, and patient/customer interaction
- Preferred Qualifications include 1-3 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician and ability to travel across market stores
