Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health in a retail store, contributing to safe and effective pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting pharmacists with prescription fulfillment, providing empathetic customer service at pick-up/drive-thru/phone, managing basic inventory tasks (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks), and supporting immunization services where allowed by law. Requires completing required training, meeting licensing/certification requirements per state guidelines, and maintaining patient safety and privacy. Part-time role with flexibility for scheduling and potential cross-store coverage; emphasizes teamwork, growth, and a patient-focused experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, licensure/certification where applicable
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
