Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health supports the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and efficiently, following SOPs, assisting patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and via phone, and contributing to immunizations and other services where allowed. Responsibilities include performing basic inventory tasks, maintaining customer service and team collaboration, complying with federal/state/local laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy, completing required training and licensure/certification per state guidelines, and being flexible to travel to stores within the market to meet business needs. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience and ability to work across the market; 20 hours per week with a typical pay range of $16.00-$24.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
