Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health pharmacy teams in retail stores with responsibilities including prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service. Shares in immunization delivery where permitted, adheres to SOPs and regulatory requirements, and contributes to safe, accurate medication handling. Must complete required training and meet state licensure/certification requirements; flexible scheduling and willingness to travel between market stores as needed to support operations. Strong communication, mathematical, and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure patient safety and a high-quality patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (or actively enrolled in a high school or high school equivalency program)
- State board of pharmacy licensure/certification requirements as applicable by state
- Age 16+ or as allowed by state board of pharmacy requirements
- Ability to complete required training and satisfy all licensing/certification requirements per State Board of Pharmacy guidelines
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, safety and privacy regulations, and medication dispensing processes
