Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role in CVS Health Retail locations focused on supporting pharmacy teams to deliver safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with immunizations where allowed, inventory tasks and cycles, accurate labeling and dispensing support, documenting and protecting patient privacy, and remaining flexible to meet store needs. The technician may travel to stores across the market as needed and must complete required training and state-licensure/certification per jurisdiction. The role emphasizes patient care, empathy, adherence to legal and ethical standards, and collaboration with Pharmacists to ensure safe operations and excellent customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- High school diploma or equivalent (or actively enrolled in high school/high school equivalency) as a minimum educational requirement
