Job Summary
Operate as part of the pharmacy team to support operational excellence and safe prescription fulfillment through production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service at the register, drive-thru, and over the phone, while offering immunizations and other health services where permitted by law. Complete basic inventory activities including medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. This role requires regular attendance including nights and weekends, with flexibility for scheduling and voluntary travel to other stores in the market. You must complete required training and satisfy state Board of Pharmacy guidelines, with duties potentially restricted until certification is achieved.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
