Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician supporting CVS Health in a retail setting, assisting the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and patient care. Responsibilities include following pharmacy workflow procedures (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), delivering empathetic customer service, offering immunizations and other patient services where allowed, performing cycle counts and stock returns, maintaining compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, and pursuing required licensure/certification per state guidelines. The role may involve traveling to stores across the market to meet business needs; requires completion of required training and adherence to state/federal laws and CVS policies. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings, and ability to obtain Technician Immunizer status where permissible. Expected hours are 40 per week with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
