Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role supporting CVS Health pharmacy teams in a retail setting. Responsibilities include following SOPs to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment; assisting with immunizations and patient outreach; handling inventory, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, and drive-thru/pick-up workflows; maintaining customer service and compassionate care, and complying with federal/state/local laws and professional standards. Requires completion of required training and state board/licensure/certification as applicable, with duties possibly restricted until requirements are met. Preference given to candidates with 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience and ability to work across multiple stores in the market; part-time position with 20 hours per week and eligibility for benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
