Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows. Assist patients with personalized service at the register and over the phone, offering immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other health services where permitted. Manage inventory activities including medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks while complying with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. Complete required training and licensing per state Board of Pharmacy guidelines, and remain flexible for scheduling and voluntary travel to other market locations. Work 25 hours weekly with a part-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
