Job Summary
Support pharmacy teams by following SOPs to manage prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off channels. Deliver exceptional patient experiences through empathy at the register, drive-thru, and over the phone, while offering immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted. Complete basic inventory activities including medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks as directed. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding controlled substances and patient privacy. This part-time role requires flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, with an anticipated weekly commitment of 20 hours. Candidates must satisfy state board of pharmacy guidelines and complete required training and certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
