Job Summary
Pharmacy Technicians work under the direction of a pharmacist to provide technical assistance, processing and preparing medications and supplies. Pharmacy Technicians work with multiple medication automation systems and delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas as well as triages phone calls and messages from multidisciplinary team members. Pharmacy Techs must be able to work in complex pharmacy areas (satellites, sterile product compounding, controlled substance handling, inventory management).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Lic-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI Upon Hire required
- LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI STATE_MI Upon Hire required
- LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI 90 Days required
- CRT-Pharmacy Technician, Certified (CPHT) - PTCB
- ExCPT - Examination for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT)
