Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician – Community at Cleveland Clinic Health System supports a high-volume outpatient pharmacy on the Crile Building's second floor, processing 500–800 prescriptions daily. Responsibilities include assisting patients at the register, preparing and filling prescriptions, inventory management, and supporting daily pharmacy operations. The role involves extemporaneous and bulk compounding, operating the POS system, providing multi-pharmacy support, and contributing to efficient, accurate medication dispensing and patient service. Typical schedule is five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with weekend rotation (Euclid Avenue Pharmacy), and a sign-on bonus up to $2,500.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA and active OBOP registration as Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee (and update to Certified within six months if trainee)
